Chain position 02
Exchange and completion together
Selling and buying in a chain, with both happening on one date.
The classic London house move and the one that needs actual operational discipline. You are loaded and out before the keys to the new house exist.
What this position changes
The load has to be out of the old house before the buyer is entitled to it, and into the new house only after funds have cleared and keys are released. Those two events are not under your control or ours.
That means a hold: a loaded vehicle, crewed and waiting, somewhere legal to stand in a city where standing anywhere is regulated.
Everything that can be done ahead is done ahead — packing finished, parking suspensions in place at both ends, access confirmed — because the only flexible element on the day is the wait.
What you get
What we bring to this position
- 01 A written runbook for the day so everyone knows the sequence and the trigger for each stage
- 02 A legal, arranged place for the loaded vehicle to stand during the hold
- 03 A crew that stays with the load rather than going off to another job
- 04 A plan for what happens if keys do not release at all
